William Rudd sent me today’s Wordless Wednesday photos, taken in a train station. As shown in the first photo, both doors are marked as exits, but it looks like one has been taken out of service.

Come on those are breakaway ties, like on grocery store side exits.
Maybe the lock is broke?
What does the sign on the door say?

Hmmm….I’m certain that “breakaway” ties do not meet the intent of “…..shall not require the use of a key, a tool, or special knowledge or effort for operation from the egress side”.
Sign simply stated: “Door Broke”.
